Here’s a very interesting video on how the Supreme Court is deciding on the future of TV. Aero, a company that manufactures and sells over-the-air antennas for mobile devices as well as recording capabilities for the same over-the-air signals is being put on trial for copyright infringement.
Aero argues that having an antennae to receive over-the-air signals and recording those signals has been firmly established as legal while the content providers are arguing that their copyright is being infringed upon.
What do you guys think? Should it be ok to sell antennas for tablets and cell phones or is Aero violating copyright providers?
A very controversial and fascinating juncture in our broadcasting history wouldn’t you say?
